If the Charlotte Bobcats are going to record their first franchise playoff win, the Magic would rather not have it happen in Orlando. The series heads up to North Carolina with the Magic leading 2-0 on the Bobcats.
It was a Blackjack player’s dream when Vince Carter and Dwight Howard scored 21 in the second half between the two of them, while the Bobcats had 21 turnovers in the game. With that being said, it is not rocket science to know that turnovers can’t compete with points.
Hopefully the Howard/Carter combo can break the house in Charlotte during game three of the series, which will be aired on TNT, that is included as part of your basic DISH Network package, at 2 PM.
How would you react if you came home and saw two legs sticking out of the bedroom window belonging to your children?
Daven Woulard of Deland was faced with this situation recently. He was quoted as saying “I saw him hanging out, I didn’t see his hands or anything, but I saw the bottom end of him, so I fired a shot into the ground while he was trying to get in.”
The would-be thief turned out to be a 16-year-old boy who broke the glass window of the children’s bedroom.
Woulard, who has a concealed weapons permit, held the suspect until police arrived. Police said that a homeowner should call 911 and wait for authorities to handle the situation, rather than to take matters in their own hands.
If the homeowner had an ADT home security system installed, the authorities would have been alerted as soon as the glass was broken and an alarm would have gone off, which could have possibly frightened the intruder away and Woulard would not have had to make a decision that could have ended up badly for all involved.
With playoffs just weeks away, the questions that are on every basketball fans mind is “where does my team place?” and “How well will my team play against teams seeded higher?”
The Orlando Magic is the only NBA team this season to defeat every other team in the league. With the Magic currently owning second place, the upcoming game with Cleveland, who is ranked #1 in the league, will be of paramount interest to even the most lackadaisical of fans.
I’d love to be there in person, but it is a long drive to Cleveland. However, I will definitely be watching this on ABC, which is included in my basic DISH network package, at 1:00 PM on Sunday April 11th. Beer is already in the fridge.
A Florida was sentenced Monday to 15 years in prison for violating his probation by trying to break into the Brevard County, Florida jail. Authorities say Jiles tried to climb a 12-foot fence at the Brevard County Detention Center in August.
He had been released a week earlier after accepting a plea deal on a manslaughter charge, but had begged jail officials to take him back into custody, saying he feared retaliation from the victim's family.
Most of us realize, however, that most criminals aren’t too concerned about their victims. This is true of burglars who only want to break into your house, steal what they can as quickly as possible, and beat it if before they get caught. Chances are you’ll never see them, and they’ll never see you, and that’ll be the end of it.
All of this can be avoided by having an ADT monitored home security system professionally installed in your house. Don’t count on burglars being afraid of you. Aim to deter them all together, starting today.

The #10 seed Florida Gators will open tournament play for the Sunshine State on Thursday, March 18th against #7 seed BYU. Both teams look to be fairly evenly matched, and this could be one of the early tournament upsets.
#9 Florida State won’t get underway against #8 Gonzaga until Friday in Buffalo. This looks to be one of the best games of the early tournament and could go either way. In fact, this game could go right down to the buzzer. Give a slight edge to the Seminoles who only have to travel up the east coast. Gonzaga, from Washington State, will be three time zones away, which is a daunting task for any March Madness team.
Catch every upset, every buzzer beater, every heartbreaking loss and unbelievable victory throughout the entire March Madness tournament on DISH Network and CBS Sports, and be there to cheer on your team as they cut down the net at the National Championship Game on April 5th in Indianapolis.
