Pot Ransom | Police Lure Idiot By Stealing His Pot Plants And Leaving A Ransom Note
Investigators in the Florida Keys lured a suspected marijuana grower into turning himself in by leaving a ransom note in place of six seized pot plants. Investigators Monroe County discovered the plants in a wooded lot and confiscated them.
They left a phone number on a note that read: “Thanks for the grow! You want them back? Call for the price.” Front runner for this year’s Darwin Award, Steven Alan Locasio, called the number about ten minutes later. Locasio offered $200 for the plants, and detectives agreed to meet him for the exchange.
Locasio was arrested and booked into jail on drug charges. Guess there’s a reason they call it “dope”.

Shooting In Jacksonville, Florida Leaves One Dead And Two Injured
A woman was shot and killed and two others were shot and injured in a Jacksonville, Florida home last week. A person just walked in and shot all three people. The woman, identified as 51-year-old, Cynthia K. Boyd, was pronounced dead on the scene. The other two, men in their 50s, are recovering in the hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
